Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. The following year, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a home with a music program. His mother and brother also played the guitar. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is a must. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while when he was a child. Although he initially wanted to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singing teacher would change his direction in life.
